IT Assistant False Alerts

I have IT Assistant set up to notify me via email whenever an event of "any" severity occurs. The problem is that I'm receiving a large number of false SystemDown and corresponding SystemUp messages from servers that are located across slow or unreliable links. Is there a way to lengthen the threshold of when these messages are generated so I will stop receiving false messages?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I concur. I have tried changing the ICMP timeout to 1500 milliseconds as well as move the status polling back to 1 Hour at near low priority setting. I still get them. Anyone?

i have the same problem too. Is this a failure of ITA or is this a feature that the status is reporting periodically? Can someone help?
