Microsoft IIS has to be installed before you install IT Assistant.  The installation of IT Assistant will create the IT Assistant site in IIS.

Thank you for your reply.  I uninstalled ITA and IIS all together and reinstalled IIS first then ITA.  It is still not pulling up the web page for the console at http:\\%servername%:2607.  I looked in IIS under defualt web sites and did not see a site for the it assistant.  I did see one for the arraymanager, drac2, and biosflashcards.  Any other ideas?

One thing that confuses many people is the versions in OpenManage.  Each version of OM is released in a CD suite of all OM apps.  The current suite is version 3.6.  Om suite v3.6 has Server Administrator v1.6, and IT Assistant version 6.5,  This is the version that has done away with the website that ITA created.  The previous version of the suite is v3.5 that has Server Asministrator v1.5 and IT Assistant v6.4.4 which has the web interface.  If you must have the web interface just use version 6.4.4, it's not that much different.  6.5 primarily addresses problems with MS server 2003.  If you are using w2k3 then you may want to consider purchasing a DRAC 3 card for full console redirect and remote boots that will allow you BIOS LEVEL CONTROL.

The old interface was heavily integrated into MS Java, and due to the dropping of support of it, Dell decided to revamp it as a .NET app that has no web interface.  I'm not sure why they didnt convert it into a Java 1.4 app, but I'm sure they have their reasons.
