M1000e Slot names
Hi,
Under Server Overview/Setup/Slot Names even though "Use Host Name for the Slot Name" is ticked, it doesn't seem to work for ESX-Hosts. Other O/S's are fine for 99% (Windows & Linux), but not ESX. But even some Windows boxes have the wrong information too.
Is this a bug, or is there a trick to make it populate for ESX?

Which version of ESX(i) are you running? With 5.x the host names were picked up automatically in our environment.

The latest I am assured....although the problem is not limitied to ESXi but some Windows boxes also.
