New Platform Specific Bootable ISO PER640, 20.12.00 is linked to the wrong file
While attempting to download the latest New Platform Specific Bootable ISO for a dell poweredge R640 we noticed the wrong ISO is linked on the dell support website. The ISO is for an r740 instead of an r640 so no FW updates are appliec wyhen booting from the ISO on an r640.
Thank you for reporting this. I'll get this information forwarded to the appropriate team, so we can get this corrected. In the meantime, if you need an ISO, one can be created using Dell Repository Manager.
I noticed that in the new ISO the latest firmware for the Idrac Lifecycle controller is not included (version 4.4) Is that normal and any ETA on an ISO with the new firmware included?
