OpenManage Remote Login does not work
I had used OpenManage remote login for more than a year, through V7.0. I just loaded v7.1 on Windows server 2008 R2 boxes and the remote login does not work.
These servers (Server A and Server B) are in the same windows domain. OMSA v7.1 is loaded on both, and works locally for both.
But remote does not work between the servers in either direction. Using the same username and password that used to work for V7.0
The problem is that I need the remote to work to view a VMWare ESXi host running OMSA for VMWare 5.1, and that can't be viewed either.
So it seems that the remote part of OMSA v7.1 is not working.
Any ideas? Are there known issues with v7.1 OMSA. I did load the patch that is available on the Dell download website.

I would suggest installing version 7.2 that just released. If you still experience issues then make sure the DSM services are running on both machines.

Dell-Daniel-- you are correct. V7.2 fixed the issue of logging into the OMSA for the VMWare host.
I didn't test v7.2 logging into another (remote) windows server running 7.2, though I can tell you that 7.2 can't remotely login to another v7.1 on a windows server.
