OS Drivers Pack Update Fails

When using OME or when trying to update manually, the "Drivers-for-OS-Deployment_Application_RMG6P_WN64_25.08.04_A00.EXE" fail to install with this message (RED097): "Unable to complete the firmware update operation because the specified firmware image is for a component that is not in the target system inventory or the component is disabled for performing the update."

This affects PowerEdge R650 systems with OS Drivers Pack 25.04.03. From what I recall, previous updates to the component complete successfully. What can I do to resolve this and clear the "Warning" servers within my "No Reboot" baseline?

Thanks!

Sorry, I also noticed that the update you linked doesn't list as compatible on the R650, the link you would need can be found here

rgb_9,

What you will need to do is save the .exe to USB and then boot to the Lifecycle Controller and run it from there, as seen below.

Dell Update Package Instructions for Driver Pack
Download
1. Click the "Download Now" link to download the file.
2. If the Export Compliance Disclaimer window appears, click the "I agree" link if you accept the agreement.
3. When the File Download window appears, click "Save" to save the file to your hard drive.

Installation
You can update the Driver Pack using Lifecycle Controller.
1. Copy the file to a USB device
2. Plug in the USB device and enter in to Platform Update
3. Select the USB device and navigate through the directory contents to find the executable
4. Launch the executable and follow the instructions provided.

Let me know how it goes, and if this helps.

Interesting, because the link I provided was directly from OME. I was able to successfully update the component when using the correct file. I will probably have wait for OME to correct itself in a future repo update.

I ended up making a custom Repository with the correct Dell OS Driver Pack and it installed successfully on the 650s. However, the baseline with "Select only components with no reboot required" still shows the incorrect version as needed. I will ignore it for now!

Same problem here, package OS Drivers Pack 25.08.04 cannot be installed. OME is showing wrong package...
