PowerEdge 1855 Chassi

I am trying to monitor the status of a PowerEdge 1855 Chassi in Dell OpenManage IT Assistant 6.5.

When I add the IP-address of the chassi's DRAC to IT Assistant's "Discovery Range" and run a force discovery, the chassi appears in IT Assistant as unclassified and when I click on it I get an error message stating that the selected system does not have instrumentation that is recognized.

Does anyone know how to get this working?

Does the PE1855 have OMSA installed on it? It needs to have OMSA 4.1.3 or later installed on it.

1st - Check the SNMP Community on the PE1855 and make sure it matches up with that which the ITA management station is discovering via SNMP with.  To do that, on the 1855, go to services, find SNMP, and go to properties, then i think it is on the security tab.

2nd - Make sure that the SNMP service is set to accept SNMP packets from either any host or at least the host with ITA running on it.

3rd - Do a new discovery and inventory of the discovery range
