PowerEdge840 120mm Case Fan Specifications?

The CPU Case Fan that came with PowerEdge 840 is very noisy.  Like to replace this fan with a better airflow with lower noise levels.  The fan in the system is Dell P/N: UG891, Made by Delta Electronics (Model Number: AFC1212DE), 120mm x 120mm x 38 mm, DC12V, 3.0A, 4 pin connector.

Can someone please provide the missing details on this Case Fan:

RPM = ?

CFM = ?

dBA = ?

Are there any replacement fans that I can purchase?

Thank You

The info you are looking for on that fan model number is here;

RPM:
3900 RPM
Air Flow:
148.34 CFM
Noise Level:
51 dBA

You can find these fans WITH the housing and shroud through numerous brokers and dell partnered parts suppliers. I buy from a place named velocity tech solutions for my older hard to get parts. good people.

cheers

I replaced the fan with a SilenX Effizio 120 mmm fan EFX 12-15 (go to Ebay) with the following info

   sku: EFX-12-15

   rated dba: 15

   dimensions: 120x120x25mm

   rpm: 1400

   cfm: 74

   operating voltage: 6-12v

   current draw: 0.11A

   power consumption: 1.32w

   bearings: 3rd generation fluid dynamic bearings

--------------------

    I connected this fan to a molex plug (several of this are avail inside Dell PE 840), and so far things have been great.

I think the original fan with 148 cfm is an overkill.

    Just an idea.
