R630 BIOS, iDRAC & Lifecycle Controller Upgrade Path
I am looking to upgrade some older servers. Those are ESXi hosts Dell PowerEdge R630's. We are currently on BIOS version: 2.1.7, Firmware version: 2.21.21.21, and Lifecycle Controller firmware: 2.21.21.21. What would be the path to get those current?

Hi @Red_S,
It would be advisable to update the BIOS and Lifecycle in each of their firmware version by revision and date. For example, your next BIOS is 2.1.7 dated Jun 2016, next update is 2.25 Sep 2016 whereas Lifecycle 2.21 dated Nov 2015. Hence, please update Lifecycle to 2.40 dated Oct 2016 before you update BIOS to 2.25. And move on with the next BIOS update date matched with Lifecycle update date.
