R6525 Diagnostics firmware missing
A few months back I worked on several R6525 systems. I updated all firmware via idrac with not problems. Today I have another 14 of these R6525 that all updated the firmware except for Diagnostics. Going into the lifecycle and running diags gives me an error message that its not installed. Dell's website only shows OS collector under diagnostics for the R6525 and that firmware also fails to install. I have a support assist from a previous system that shows diagnostics was installed and working on that unit.
Previous unit.

Current unit I am working on.

I need assistance in locating the correct diagnostic firmware for R6525 so I can run diags via lifecycle controller. The only one I can find is for a R7625 which fails up install.

Hello TheMattHatter_17f8db,
Based on my understanding, the server model should still be covered under warranty. May I ask whether you have raised an official support ticket regarding this matter?
Respectfully,

@DELL-Young E I dont think its an issue with the server. Dell's own firmware repository no longer pushes it to the server. I am currently working on a R650 and noticed the same problem, the diagnostics firmware is not shown on dell anymore for the R6525 and R650. A work around I found is using Diagnostics_Application_R30YT_WN64_4301A73_4301.74_01 from 14G which works on 15G. Its doesnt seem to be a server issue but a Dell FW repository issue.

Hi,
After some researching, I found the file download in the server catalog file: https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=PHPW6. You can try updating the iDRAC/LCC uEFI Diag via iDRAC firmware update section. I tried it on one of the simulation server, R6525, the file did go through the update and didnot throw any error. And I did the ePSA diag test in Lifecycle after the update. It did the diagnostics.
