++ RAC0225: Sending the test mail failed ++

Question

Hello,

to would like to have an error notification via E-Mail realized by the iDRAC. Servers are 2x R730, 1x T430
and one R320.

PE R320
BIOS 2.4.2
FW 2.15.10.10
IP: 192.6.237.224
NM 255.255.255.0
GW 192.6.237.92
DNS 192.6.237.104

I set up all data I found in this forum / KB articles. Still get the error message. What else can I do?

Set an alternate DNS server say googles DNS 8.8.8.8

IMPORTANT when making network changes you HAVE TO RESET the idrac controller for the changes to take effect.

Make sure you are putting the correct smtp server settings and try again it should work now
