Storage manager
So I have a 4Di with a battery that needs to be reconditioned. My question is HOW do I do that? I see no options at all to recondition the battery.
Thanks

Good info, but OpenManage ITAssist has a big red X saying to recondition and within the storage manager since the battery is different you can't get rid of the X.
Any ideas????

Okay. Let's give this a try. The next time that you can reboot your managed server:
1. When you see the PERC 4/Di BIOS message during POST, press CTRL + M simultaneously
2. Select "Objects" and press Enter
3. Select "Reset Battery Charge Counter" and press Enter
4. Reboot the system and go back into the OS. Wait long enough for all the services to get started.
5. On your ITA Management Station, Refresh the Inventory and Status for that particular server

Did that and the system still comes up with the event. (well in ITAssist it is a Bang)
Server Administrator from that server. (Big red X)
X Properties
Name Battery 0
State Degraded
Recharge Count 2440
Max Recharge Count 1100
