Updates on W2K8 x64 box
Hello,
I am unable to update any drivers or firmware on my W2K8 box. It's a PE2950 and I'm trying to update the Raid Driver and Firmware and also the RAC firmware. All the executables I've downloaded error out with an error saying that the 'Dell Updatge Pakage: has stopped working'. Then I can either close the program or check online for a solution and close the program.
Any ideas anyone?

what are the names of the filenames you are trying? and which Raid card do you have? for the rac, you should be using rac_frmw_win_r209365.exe

I am using th rac_frmw_win_r209365.exe, as well as RAID_DRVR_WIN_R210510.EXE and RAID_FRMW_WIN_R2_R216024.EXE
I have a PERC 6/1 Integrated

run the update, let it fail, then go to the \dell\updatepackage\log\support\rac_frmw_win_r209365.log and post the contents here. This isnt w2k8sp2 "R2" is it?
