Using Open manage to replace Raid 5 HD

Everyone,

I have to say first off that I am not a software person really.  However, no one in my company has any experience in Raid arrays, despite having inherited several systems.  I apologize if my questions and follow ups are not clear.  I'm kinda shooting in the dark most of the time.

I have a Server 2003 system with a Raid 5 array.  One of my hard drives died on me.  I had two identical drives removed from another computer with it's own array.

Using Open manage, I have stumbled my way through getting the Foreign configuration off of that disk, and even have cleared it.  Now it is in the Ready state, with the rest of the Raid degraded.  I have gone to the Virtual Drive section.  For this drive, I expected something like Rebuild or Reconfigure the array or something like that.  Here are the options I see:

Delete

Asign/Unassign Dedicated Hot Spare

Blink

Unblink

Rename

Change Policy

Replace member disk

My question is, how do I get the array to add this disk in and have it start using it?  I want to get the array up and running and out of the degraded state.  I thought it was hot swappable, so should I just pull it out and push it back in?

Sorry for being such an inexperienced idiot.  Any help would be appreciated.  Sadly, I've been kinda thrown to the wolves by my IT group on this one.

Thanks,

Thank you so much.  That seems to have worked.  I'll check the status of the array in the morning.
