Windows 2012 / Broadcom SNMP
When Installing Openmanage 7.2 on a windows 2012 server I get the following info :
A Broadcom(R) NIC was detected on this system. To install the 64-bit version of
Broadcom(R) SNMP agent, browse to the "SYSMGMT/srvadmin/support/brcm_snmp_64bit"
directory on the DVD or the Server Administrator Windows Web download
package.
But when I try to install the brcm_snmp_64bit package I get the error :
Broadcom Drivers and Management Applications requires that your computer is running Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008-R2
Any help how to get snmp working ?
I want to monitor both netwerk interfaces. (part of a team)
Stephan

Thanks for the additional information. I checked with one of our Broadcom specialists; he provided me a new link that wasn’t on the page yet: downloads-us.dell.com/.../Bcom_LAN_17.4.0_Windows_64_17.4.0.9.exe

The SNMP agent is in the full install of BACS 17.0 from the following link: http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/DriverDetails/Product/poweredge-r310?driverId=HCP80&osCode=MWS80&fileId=2961022540&languageCode=EN
Download and extract to your hard drive, then run the setup.exe from extracted location. Once installed, this will give you the SNMP options you are looking for.

Geoff,
The link is pointing to the download Bcom_LAN_17.0.1_Manual_A00.exe
And this package only contains the manual in html format ?

I apologize for grabbing the wrong link as the site was having issues this morning. Try this link instead: http://downloads.dell.com/FOLDER00401675M/1/Bcom_LAN_17.2.0_W2K8_64_A00.exe and follow the same steps. This is the latest driver and will work with Server 2012.
