android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly

I just encountered the same problem. It started by disconnecting me from a phone call. The phone has been useless since.

What do we do? 

I've tried taking the battery out... Reporting by LOTA... Copy to SD card... and QUIT but it just loops ... I am unable to receive calls,  or text ..... However, I can use 

the camera and the alarm goes off (I was able to turn the alarm off BUT cannot change the alarm times.)

Can someone offer some help???  Please...

I was experiencing this same exact issue, not sure what caused it.  After a factory reset, it's not looping anymore, but now the phone hangs on the slide to unlock screen with no touch screen response making the phone unusable in this state.  sometimes the screen will respond on the opposite swipe to mute the phone or turn on the sound, but nothing else.  it's basically a brick now

The SAME exact thing happened to ME!! First the looping message, had to do some quick screen swipes to get to my settings then did a factory reset. After which, the same as yours; screen navigation is choppy, my 720 "HD quality" videos are smudgy and freeze frames, sound is low and when taking a picture, the flash "turn on" option is grayed out.

I am thinking DELL or ATT pushed out some ota that auto loaded fried something for so many of us to suddenly experience the same broken message.  No way we can have anything else in common among our phones that would cause this.

and NO word from Dell or ATT regarding their take on the issue either... shame.

I don't have an answer, but I do want to say that I have had the same problem--the message appeared suddenly. Then, when I tried to do a re-set, the monitor simply went black and nothing has happened since.  My Streak is less than a year old.  Help!
