Compensation Procedure

What is the recommended procedure for obtaining compensation from Dell for the time and costs incurred as a direct result of the various failures associated with the 2.1 upgrade?

On the contrary. I'm not angry at all.

Sadly I'm rapidly becoming resigned to the fact that voluntary compensation is not on the imminent horizon.

I find the lack of a corporate statement particularly disappointing. Although I am working with the Streak (having reverted to 1.6 from the faulty 2.1) it is not what I thought I had bought and it is not what I was sold.

I had hoped that I could recommend this product to others. It seems to draw such interest from everyone who sees it. However when I recount me experiences with 2.1 that interest rapidly wanes.

I still believe in the concept of the product and would like to be compensated for my time and costs involved in the failed 2.1 update.

Maybe one day Dell will respond.

What do they say? Once bitten twice shy?

I updated to 2.2 and guess what? It locked my phone.

To get me out of the hole, O2 lent me a very basic handset.

After a few days of quiet contemplation I have decided that enough is enough. I wish everyone well. I'm off to pastures new.

Happy holidays to one and all.
