Dell Venue 7

Tablet won't charge.  When I plug it in it boots up to the lock screen and then shuts back down.  The battery indicator shows that it needs charged.  Usually there is a white light that lights up when plugged in, the white light blinks and then the light turns to an amber color and then blinks until it shuts back down.  I have tried different cords and it just does the same thing.
