Is my T-Mobile Dell Streak 7 unlocked?
Hi,
I just bought a supposidily unlocked T-Mobile Streak 7, but on the back it doesn't say T-Mobile. It only shows the Dell trademark.
When turned on, the pop up screen shows T-Moble, and it has some applications on it for the service as well.
I'm presently running it with AT&T. Had problems getting an AT&T Tablet service to work with it, and found that using a Smart Phone one only worked with it, so I was able to get that service, but with the voice disconnected. It also works with 4G, at least it shows as such on the screen, with 4G popping up on the display.
I had first tested it with the card from my AT&T cell phone, and it had worked fine.
Is this indeed an unlocked Streak 7, or will I still have to get it done?
Once completed, will I be able to then upgrade to Honeycomb 3.2, via the Dell download, since it would then be unlocked?

No answers, or no one wants to answer?
I tried calling, but got someone from India, at which point I hung up, due to very bad experiences dealing w/them.

I am not dell support, but since you are able to use the AT&T sim, this would lead me to think that the tablet is unlocked. TMobile is the only cellular company in the US that carry the Dell Streak 7, or should I say was the only company.

Thanks, but that doesn't answer my question.
After calling and posting here, and getting no answers, I'm going to return my Streak 7.
Since Dell isn't too interested in helping me, and thus my business, I'll send it elsewhere. ;)
Having delt w/their Home Divsion in the past, w/horrible results, I won't ever do business there anymore.
