I just got a notice about a new firmware update. Says it is to fix stagefright and 'other security issues " . Anyone else get this? Is it legit? Does it work and not break anything?
I did this update the other night and don't seem to have any issues afterwards. Looks like it also fixed the bootloader error that used to come up after every re-start.
I did see someone else mention (on a wirlpool thread) that he was getting play store errors when trying to update existing or install new apps but a full factory reset appeared to correct that.
