Knowledge Base Article: 000336138 Unity: Minimum permissions needed by a vCenter user to use VMware integration from Unisphere
1. Under roles on vCenter 6.0 and below, create a new role 'unisphererole' and choose the following 2 privileges: i) Datastore (including all subpermissions) ii) Host>configuration>storage partition configuration
2. A user 'unisphereuser' has to be then created on vCenter with the role 'unisphererole'. 3. Add vCenter to VNXe's Unisphere using the user account 'unisphereuser'. 4. The VMware integration should work as expected. For vCenter 6.5 an additional privilege is required The privilege is called “Storage Views > View”

This worked in 6.7, haven't tried it in 7.0 yet.
