Can't I test Unity VSA anymore?

Hi, I'm trying to prepare for a storage test with Unity VSAs. However, I got a temporary license through https://www.dell.com/en-us/dt/products/elmeval.htm , The specified license file is invalid. (Error Code:0x2800120)

Hi,

Thanks for your question.

What version are you using, we switched from .lic files to .xml for licenses.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

@DELL-Josh Cr Thank you for your answer, I've tried everything from Unity VSA 5.3 to 5.5 at the moment, but I get the same Error Code:0x2800120.

Have you generated a new license? Does the UUID of your install match the UUID you used to generate the license?

@DELL-Josh Cr The UUID found in the Web Console of Unity VSA is different from the UUID shown when you type svc_diag in the CLI. I have no idea which UUID to type. And just in case, my vSphere environment is 8.

@DELL-Josh Cr I see, but the error still occurs when I download the license file in xml format and upload it to Unity VSA by entering the UUID that appears in the Web Console.

I’d try a completely fresh VM install from the 5.5 ova and then generate a new license with the UUID from it.

@DELL-Josh Cr Thank you for your response every time. I mentioned above, but I've tried everything from version 5.3 to version 5.5, but I get an error.

Post screenshots of the xml file UUID and the console UUID.

@DELL-Josh Cr

Yes, first of all, there is no problem with the Unity VSA and www.dell.com and the network that I deployed.

And the UUID of the Unity VSA that you deployed.

The UUID that appears within the downloaded xml format of the license file.

And if you upload that xml license file, the same error occurs.
