EMC Unity get configuration report

Question

Hi all More and more customers buy our EMC Unity offerings. Now I want to document their setup and I am wondering if there is a way to easily get a report (HTML, CSV or document) which describes the basic information of these system. In the old days I was able to create such a report with USM. 1) Is there a way to get such a report? 2) If yes how? 3) if no, is there a tool? In addition is there any other useful tool or CLI which gives me more capabilites overy my EMC Unity? Is there any tight integration with VMware except of VASA? Can you provide me with VASA docuementation? We are still wondering how to optimize the smooth work between EMC Storage LUNs and VMFS, especially in integration with VMware Storage DRS. go to Service -> Service tasks Select Save Configuration click on Execute

Did you look at the config report you can get from Unisphere ?

sure there are UEMCLI commands to get info about the different objects and setting

see the UEMCLI reference guide

If you are a partner you can also load a config into Unity Designer

for VMware integration see the Unity wmWare white paper
