EMC Unity- why this white 1GigE sticker ??
Hi,
We all know that all embedded CNA ( if converted to GigE) and embedded ethernet ports on unity support on 1G and 10G. I was wondering why this white sticker only on port 3 of embedded Ethnernet stating 1G ???

Apologies for the delay. Here is the explanation:
This 1GbE label corresponds to the SP management port MAC address.
The MAC address label had to be moved to where it is now because of air/space issues near the management port. We then added the “1GbE” sticker next to the MAC address to reference the 1Gbe Management port because it was so far away.
Hope this answers you question.

Vivek, I am looking into this for you.
Your picture didn't come through but I think I know what you mean (just checked in the lab).
You should also have an orange sticker saying 10Gb, correct?
I'll let you know when I have more info on this. But this should not affect anything.
