Migration from IBM V7000 to Unity 400
Hello,
We have an exisitng IBM V7000 storage with 6TB of data on it .we are checking an option to buy unity400 to replace IBM however we are stuck on the migration plan.what is the best way we can do the migration from IBM storage, please note that we have multiple servers(Windows and RHEL) using the boot from SAN,so once we migrate to to Unity we should be able to do the booting from Unity SAN.
Please help us to design the migration plan.

Hello Rainer,
The Unity migration technologies has details about migration from emc box xto Unity only, where can i find the info about IBM storage to Unity ?

Hi,
I would suggest to start with the Unity migration technologies white paper.
If this is planned for some time in the future you can also ask your local sales about roadmap for SAN copy pull to Unity from 3rd party systems.
