Replicated resources not avaiable after fail over

Question

Hello All, I have two Dell Unity 480F, one is at a remote site. I have asychronous replication configured for a VMware datastore that contains 3 test vm's. If I understand correctly, a failover with sync should allow a failover to the remote site, and the replicated resources should be available. The virtual machines din the replicated storage were not accessible. I did no do a 'resume' on the remote site. I then decided to do a failback (to the main local storage) - this worked, but only two of the 5 virtual machines were accessible. I had to shutdown the vm's and then restart - then I could access the machines. Am i missing something here? What is 'replication' supposed to do? Thanks, Eholz1

Hello notsurenotsure, It would be best to open a case so that we can pull logs from both systems and see what went on & how to resolve that so it doesn’t happen again in the future.
