UNITY 2Way NDMP Restore from VG8 2Way NDMP Tape backup
Hello all,
i've seen that Unity is compatible but unable to find if it's in 2 Way NDMP or 3 Way NDMP only... hopes both works !
If someone could confirm that point...should be useful

Hi Philippe,
From what I have been able to find it is only 3 way that is supported.

Unity supports both 2-way and 3-way NDMP. Please note that Unity runs a more modern file system and different data services than VG8, so certain attributes will not be available upon restore to Unity.

Sorry, not following exactly what you are trying to achieve. The UnityVSA has its own native file system, so that's the only file system it can use.

In 3way NDMP case, do you know if Unity VSA able to use NFS repository for NDMP restore ?
ie: ECS bucket as NFS file system mounted on ESXi , VSA system running on local storage but is it able to use the NFS file system ???
