creating a pool wont zero the disks blocks
you would need to create LUNs and overwrite all the data
but even that will not guarantee that every block is overwritten
for example it wont touch the areas reserved for OE and config
the PS service uses special software that the array boots instead of Unity OE
If you have DARE yo could look at kb 487661

professional service does offer a secure erasure service for Unity
deleting a LUN / fs / NAS server does not delete its data on disk - it wont overwrite it with zeros

Thank you for your response. What about deleting the pool and creating a new one using a different RAID type?
Thank you very much for this information. It was very helpful.
