Not sure what you mean. Unity is not the same as VNX. Unity only has one IP for management, not two. The management interface will float between the SPs depending on which SP is the primary at the time.
The only thing to pay attentio is that even though there is only one SP, both management cables need to be connected and fully accessible from the network, otherwise when a failover or mgmt occurs, you will not have access if the secondary SP management cable is not setup correctly.
In Dell installation documentation P/N 302-002-562 REV 04 page 26 there is note:
"The SP A and SP B network management ports must be connected on the same subnet. In general, both SPs should have mirrored configurations in order to provide failover."
How to configure SPs in failover mode.
Is there special configuration that must be done to provide that failover during Unity 400 initial configuration.
So just make sure you have Eth cables on both mgmt ports on the SPs (one each) and make sure the switch is setup the same for both.
You can test mgmt failover then if the system is not yet in production by rebooting the primary SP. Mgmt should failover to the other SP if you have everything setup correctly.
Do not do this if the array is already in production.
You can see what SP is primary from the GUI under the service tasks tab.

Hi Andre
I'm talking about SPA and SPB IP address configuration. I read that they must be configured in mirroring configuration.
I need more information how To do it.
Documentation is wellcoming.

Ok, cool. So that is what I was referring to.
So just make sure you have Eth cables on both mgmt ports on the SPs (one each) and make sure the switch is setup the same for both.
You can test mgmt failover then if the system is not yet in production by rebooting the primary SP. Mgmt should failover to the other SP if you have everything setup correctly.

Hi NK,
All info should be in the installation and setup guides.
Installation guide is here (check page 26 for example):
