So before you create that snap, you need to make sure that the replication session is fully in sync. Then create your snap, mount to host and check.
If the source LUN changes a lot very quickly, then you know the target will most likely never be in sync fully unless we are talking about sync rep (and not async).

Hi Glen,
so, with the below statement in the Unity replication detailed review:
"To view the data contained in the destination storage resource, you may take a Snapshot of the resource and provide host access to it."
does it means, when snapshot is created on the target LUN, it will capture the latest synchronized snapshot
