UnityVSA Community Edition License

Question

Hello:

I have deployed a new UnityVSA (using the ova file) in my vSphere lab test. Using the initial configuration wizard in the first boot I am unable to get the license online (the System UUID is displayed in the wizard), if I log in my Dell account I was unable to add the UnityVSA in order to get this license

Additionally, I would appreciate it if you could provide guidance on how to generate a trial license to use the OVA in a lab environment.

I have sent you the link. Once you have installed the software you will need to go to the following link Software Evaluation License | Dell USA and input the information needed and it will provide you with a license key.

Hello Zayar3e344f, I sent you a link. The License server is currently being worked on so you may not get a license when you access the license site for unityvsa community edition.

Hi Sam,

I'm having trouble getting the free license for UnityVSA 5.3.0.0 from the following URL:

After signing in, I typed in the system uuid and selected the product. When I clicked Submit, I received an error "Internal Server Error[500]". Is this also because of the license server?

If yes, do you have any estimate when it'll be available again?

Hello sisinf, Currently there is not an eta of when the server is to be available to issue licenses. There is not another way to get a Community Edition license.
