VNX2 arrayconfig equivalent

Hi,

Recently installed 2 Unity-400 systems and we are looking for the equivalent for arrayconfig which we used in our VNX2.

With the XML output we bring our internal CMDB up-to-date.

I can't find it... but that doesn't mean it isn't there... somewhere..

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Thanks Rainer...

uemcli -d -u service -p /service/system collect -config

Operation completed successfully.

with user id service as the admin user is not allowed to use the service commands.

Do you know where the file is located... I can access the SP with SSH but can't find the file.

With same commands I can use -download but I need target and file name.

did you check the manuals for UIMCLI and service commands?

If you run the following command it creates a file that you can then download using WinSCP. Once downloaded you can view the file in a browser. The resulting view looks very similar to what you would see when using USM and the VNX arrayconfig file.

Hi Rainer and Glen,

I played around with svc_arrayconfig with -s and -H but it the best we can get for now. My co-worker is also working on the REST API to see what he can get from here.

Thanks a lot for your replies, really helping me in the right direction.
