Is service pack essential for srm integration

Can I monitor a system through SRM which does not have a service pack available, want to integrate oracle zfs storage to vipr srm but the service pack is not available

    Hi gautam148, Although there is currently no SolutionPack for Oracle ZFS, it is possible to develop your own script (and reports) that could be added to one of the collectors. You may want to consider involving professional services to develop and integrate the script and reports. Regards, Isaka

    Hi gautam148,

    Looks like Oracle ZFS supports SNMP, if you have the mibs you could build a custom SNMP mask for it.

    Looks like Oracle ZFS supports REST API. So you could theoretically create s solution pack and make restapi calls through it. Take a look at:

    Oracle® ZFS Storage Appliance RESTful Application Programming Interface


    Isaka's SNMP  masking idea may be the easier bet, though neither one of these suggestions would be supported by EMC Support
