Vipr controller 2.2.x VPLEX code level compatibility

Question

Hi, Was looking on some clarification on support matrix of Vipr controller 2.2.x with VPLEX code levels. I found the compatibility matrix and it says it supports VPLEX with VMA, VNX, XIO backend but doesn't mention any VPLEX code levels in the matrix. For recover point with VPLEX it does mention a minimum of 5.4.1 VPLEX cod level requirement. So for normal non recoverpoint VPLEX setups does this mean that we support all code releases 5.x ? in our scenario customer wants to upgrade the VPLEX code but we want to be sure that the new 5.4.1p1 release is qualified with the running vipr 2.2.0.0 etc which will be a routine question. Just want to be sure before I pass on the information myself.... regards Niek

Hi Niek, If you look at the Array support section in the support matrix, you will find the supported levels of GeoSync: 5.3.0.3 5.4.1 Let me know if you have other questions. Regards

Thanks Javier, Do u know if we also support / qualify patch level like 5.4.1 p1 Geosync under 5.4.1 as I assume we don't qualify those minor releases?

I don't think we qualify minor patch levels, but you can submit an RPQ if you want to be 100% sure. Regards
