viprcli authenticate issue

Hi

Trying to upgrade my vipr install, I need to run the viprcli...

Here is what I get:

# viprcli authenticate -u root -d /root

Password :

The token is not generated by authentication service.

I do not understand what it means, since this vm is working nicely with  viprcli since I have cinder vipr code running on it which uses these APIs with a different user.

What is wrong in my command?

Thanks

Issue solved ... it was because of the proxy!

Do not forget to set properly your no_proxy env variable with the hostname of your vipr1 Vm!

Note: using ViPR 2.1, the no_proxy environment variable does not seem to work anymore. Just remove your https_proxy variable...
