Availability of VMWare Management Plugin
In the UK at least this product appears to be unavaialble to Dell customers . Our Dell Enterprise Account Manager -after 2 weeks of prodding - now tells me this is only available in the US and that there is no pricing or launch date for the product in the UK. This is very frustrating as we are a longstanding Dell shop that runs extensive VMWare infrastructure.
Can anyone tell me what's going on here?

Dell do not provide a download for evaluation which is slightly inconvenient. Providing a 3 server license with 30 days evaluation would be appropriate. You may find that your account team will help you out with this.kickmaleerie

The pricing structure is *very* heavily weighted to large license volumes; it is nearly x36 as expensive to purchase per server for a 3 server license as compared to a 51-1000 license.
I can't see the business case for this. Why screw small shops on this as the distribution costs are flat anyway? The real costs given the potential market size are probably near zero so why not just provide it free of charge and load up on the tin pricing to recoup? So c'mon Dell stop being dumb on this and give it away like you do with OMSA, DMC etc.
For example, in the UK:
51-1000 Sever license: 2073.34 INC VAT = 2.07 per 11G sever
50 Server license: 1,392.00 INC VAT = 27.84 per 11G server
10 Server license: 612.00 INC VAT = 61.20 per 11G server
3 Server license: 228 INC VAT = 76.00 per 11G server
