I have been looking arround at the canned reports (even the vbundle) and can't find a report that will alow me to select 2 vm's and compare there performance over say the last week. Any ideas would be fantastic.

Have you tried to do this via a drag & drop report (custom report)?
You should be able to accomplish this through there.

So open the right hand draw using the little triangle arrow halfway down the side of the screen and select create dashboard from the General tab. Choose the 2 column format. Then select the Data tab and explore Virtual->virtual machines and find the first one you want to view and drag it over to the first column on the dashboard canvas. You will get prompted for what you want next; select View and you will get a config wizard like that shown below. Open up the VMware Administrator area (all the views I used in the example came from that) and select the view you want (they give a preview as shown and you can change them later and reorder them if necessary). Repeat the exercise to get the other views you want. Then repeat the exercise in column 2 for the other VM that you want to use in the comparison.

Oh and make sure that as Larry advises you visit http://training.vizioncore.com for much more on this and other topics.
