Quickref: If you're having trouble saving a report in IE, here's a solution
When trying to save an ad-hoc report of a view within vOPS while in Internet Explorer, IE defaults to prompting you to verify the safety of the download you're about to receive. Unfortunately, when you click "accept," IE attempts to refresh the page to try downloading again, rather than caching the file and simply saving it. With our interface, this causes the local Java client in the browser to reset and require a login, repeating this process for eternity.
The obvious work-around is to use another browser, however that's not always an option. Thankfully, there's also an easy work-around for IE!
Go into the Control Panel and open up Internet Options. Under the security tab, add the IP address of the vOPS appliance to your "trusted sites" zone. Then, set the security level on "trusted sites" to "Low." This will no longer prompt you for the download from our appliance, and you'll be able to save the report locally without any problems.
