Hi guys,
I've recently installed vFoglight to monitor my test environment which consists of 3 ESX host running vSphere4 Update1.
I would like help in understanding the Memory Utilization box in VMExplorer.
Basically, I have 3 ESX servers with 32GB RAM each, therefore 96GB RAM in total
Memory Use on vFoglight shows that I'm using 85% of this.... now does this mean that I'm acutally using 85% or just allocated out 85% to the VM's.
In the Memory Utilization box there is:
Active Memory which is showing as 10.4GB Active Ballooned is showing as 5.8GB Shared is showing as 78.5GB Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
The VMExplorer shows Allocated Memory as a % in the View text. When you look at the graph it shows Active, shared and ballooned. If you hover over each of the metrics or click on the graph it should explain what is being displayed.
