vFoglight Permissions
Hi All,
I'd like to create the following in vFoglight, any advice would be awesome.
I currently create all of my dashboards and reports under the default foglight account and then grant lesser roles access to them, i.e. 'Operator'. I've now enabled AD integration and would like to give particular AD groups their own vFoglight dashboards.
I'd presume this would be done through 'Roles'. I.e. create a role with a specific set of permissions and then assign it to a user/group - simple.........wish it was. I cant see where i set a specific set of permissions. Any ideas welcome.

I believe you import the LDAP group under Groups, then assign roles to that imported LDAP group.
When a new user is added to an AD group, and logs in the first time, it maps any AD groups from the user to matching "imported LDAP group" roles. The roles granted then match up with the 'Allowed Roles' on the dashboards.
User -> AD Group -> Matching Imported LDAP group(s) -> Roles
