Firewall problem

Question

AT&T.NET is my ISP- I also have the AT&T accelerator. Before installing the PCSecurity Shield firewall the accelerator icon appeared in the task bar. If I try to connect to the Internet-I get page cannot be found. The only way I can connect to the Internet is to disable the accelerator. Once connected, start the accelerator-now the icon shows in the task bar and all is well. Of course when I shut down-I have to repeat the whole McGillia again.

Is it possible that the accelerator is causing the problem?   Try completely uninstalling AT&T-A and see if it goes away. Accelerators aren't really that useful.

Your right---The accelerator is the cause. I Changed my virus protection provider. Seems like new isn't aways better!! Thanks for your help.
