wagin Please download VundoFix.exe to your desktop. Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it. Click the Scan for Vundo button. Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button. You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo. When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK. Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log. Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove. 1. Rerun Hijackthis (scan only) and place checks beside the following entries

2. Your log does show you are running 2 or 3 Antivirus programs: Nod32, Norton, and McAfee.

Running 2 Antivirus programs is never a good idea.
Since they both do the same job, running 2 can cause conflicts, system slowdowns, and may even allow some malware to slip by.
I recommend that you unistall 2 of them through Add/Remove Programs.

And in your reply tell me which one you decided to keep

3. Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
This program is for XP and Windows 2000 only

Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.

If you use Firefox browser

Click Firefox at the top and choose: Select All

If you use Opera browser
Click Opera at the top and choose: Select All

Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

For Technical Support, double-click the e-mail address located at the bottom of each menu.

This will remove all files from the items that are checked so if you have some cookies you'd like to save. please move them to a different directory first.

4. Run an online virus scan called Kaspersky from HERE.

1. Click on " Kaspersky Online Scanner"
2. A new smaller window will pop up. Press on " Accept". After reading the contents.
3. Now Kaspersky will update the anti-virus database. Let it run.
4. Click on " Next"->>" Scan Settings", and make sure the database is set to " extended". And check both the scan options. Then click OK.
5. Then click on " My Computer". And the scan will start.
6. Once finished, save a log as ". txt" to the desktop.

Copy and post the results of the Kaspersky Online scan and a fresh Hijackthis log. You may have to post the results in more than one reply.
