Help....My IE just wont connect to the net anymore

Recently my Internet Explore just wont connect to the net anymore even though there nothing wrong with my line(check it with Firefox and also two of my messenger work fine).

Here is the problem:
Everytime I open a website, it turn up for like two second and then dissapear and said " there no connection ", plus on the address bar, it replace the website address with " http:/// "

I had scan my pc with both adware and spyware and found nothing T_T. Can anyone here kind enough to show me a way to make my IE work again since I dont really like Firefox that much and would prefer to fix my IE if there any possible way T_T

Are you going through a proxy?  What happens when you run ipconfig?  Do this via:

Start-->RUn---> type ipconfig.

Are you going through a router?

ANy ports blocked on your firewall,if you have one.

kai,

Let's see if there's something that's running on your computer that might be causing the problem. Go ahead and post up a highjackthis log, using the newest version; 1.99.0, and we'll review it for you.

Mike.

Kai,

Ok, there's quite a bit on there, so let's get started...

First, look in Add/Remove programs, and remove the following, if present:

Begin2Search
Web Related

Ok, let's first download, unzip to your desktop and run CWShredder. Check for, and download any available updates, then click " Fix ->".

Reboot into " Safe Mode"

Run HiJackThis, then click " Config...", then " Misc tools", then " Open process manager". Locate and ' kill' the following processes, if running:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\yiz7.dll

Just below the running process window, in the right-hand corner, click " Back". Next click " Delete a file on reboot"

Browse to and double-click on (if present) C:\WINDOWS\system32\yiz7.dll. When prompted to reboot your computer, select " No".

In the lower right-hand corner of the HiJackThis window, click " Back", then click " Scan", the check(tick) the following, if present:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer,SearchURL = http://www.begin2search.com/googlesidesearch.html
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar =
http://www.begin2search.com/googlesidesearch.html
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page =
http://www.begin2search.com/googlesidesearch.html
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant =
http://www.begin2search.com/googlesidesearch.html

R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - _{5D60FF48-95BE-4956-B4C6-6BB168A70310} - (no file)
R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - _{CFBFAE00-17A6-11D0-99CB-00C04FD64497} - (no file)

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {A78860C8-EE1A-46DF-A97F-E3E6D433E80B} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\yiz7.dll

O9 - Extra button: Related - {c95fe080-8f5d-11d2-a20b-00aa003c157a} - C:\WINDOWS\web\related.htm
O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Show &Related Links - {c95fe080-8f5d-11d2-a20b-00aa003c157a} - C:\WINDOWS\web\related.htm

O16 - DPF: {f760cb9e-c60f-4a89-890e-fae8b849493e} -

Now with all windows closed except HiJackThis, click " Fix checked".

Reboot your computer normally.

Post back a new log.

Mike.

kai,

Thanks. There's still quite a few 'questionable' files on your system, so let's see if some free programs can give us some insight...

Do you have AdAware SE Personal and Spybot S&D? Are you running Norton's firewall?

In the meantime, go to www.trendmicro.com and click " Free Online Scan". It'll take a few minutes to download and install. When it's down, select all available drives, then click " Scan".

Post back the results of the scan.

Mike.
