MANIFEST Files are they viruses/spyware or adware ?

well i was wondering for anyone who can tell me .....ive been using the troublshooting guide from the previous problems i had with my computer ...containing the stop blue screen message : STOP 0x00000050 .....after awhile .....i was in the system32\drivers folder to find any spyware files.... i suspect i found 2 .sys files (files containing no information of file version , desc , copyright , company name , or product name . ) and changed the name to malware1.old to 2.old etc......but i knew theres "more that meets the eye" . so i checked other files in that folder not containing the .sys file type and found these files :

 eapci2m.ecw
 ativmc20.cod
 cxthsfs2.cty
 netwlan5.img

these files doesnt consist of any type of information of file version , description , company name copyright , or product name . Now Wouldnt it make sense for a company to tab in all there information on any of there files ??

same goes for the system32 folder , while searching through the folder to find any files consisting of muspd.exe files (spyware file) ...i found other files such as :

 yuk or yum 7adsfas1.ico
 virus hunter yeah1.ico
 moviesorangecirc1.ico
kas pink123.ico

i thought these files i thought were abnormal , by just looking at the image of the file ...i also checked on hidden files previously followed by the trouble shotting guide for the system32/drivers folder , and guess what , i did find hidden files attributes as RHAC and MANIFEST type file consisting file sizes of 1kb, such of these files consist of the names :

 cdplayer.exe.manifest
 logonui.exe.manifest
 ncpa.cpl.manifest
 nwc.cpl.manifest
 sapi.cpl.manifest
 windowslogon.manifest
 wuaucpl.cpl.manifest

...now would any of these files that describe themselves as MAINFEST type files be normal ?? same goes for the previous files i have mentioned..... i wanna fix this problem as Soon as possible , so i would make sure that i would never have that 0x0000050 STOP blue screen message again .

 Thank You for understanding.
