McAfee, hijacked my PC

I have had McAfee hijack Windows Defender without permission. It was a real problem getting rid of them and I still get emails to reinstate every month. My experience with McAfee is they are more of a problem than any actual protection. Now they have hijacked my new Windows 11 and have encrypted the security also where I can't keep track of it.
