Newegg was the victim of month-long card skimming hack.  Newegg has since removed the code, but it's not certain how many people have been affected. It has "not yet determined" which accounts had been compromised but was warning potentially affected users to watch their card activity.

So if you purchased from Newegg between August 14th and September 18th, be on the lookout...
