system restore not working
my system restore is not working, did I get a virus or spyware?

Probably not. The most common cause of system restore failure is a corrupted restore database. Disable system restore on your computer (Start|Control Panel|System|System Restore tab) and reboot. Return and enable system restore again. Create a manual restore point then see if you are able to restore to it. If you are, restore should work in the future.
