Of interest, I note that the update to MB 4.3 includes both an option to get a free "Browser Guard" and an annoying promo to get a Malwarebytes VPN free trial (of a paid version). I accepted the free Browser Guard on my test machine (email address required, full review to follow),and declined the VPN.
It's a bit disappointing to see ads inserted into (paid) product updates/installs. Particularly when it's from a quality product.

FWIW, I have been using Browser Guard (which I had explicitly/manually installed) in Edge and Firefox for quite a while now. As with most of my security tools, I can't say that I've noticed its presence... I don't know that it's slowed anything down, and I don't recall whether it's intercepted anything. There may have been a rare false-positive, which was soon corrected.
In Edge (my primary browser in Win10), I use 3 add-ons: MalwareBytes Browser Guard, u-Block Origin, and HTTPS Everywhere.

Thanks ky.
I would further note that when I accepted Browser Guard, it only installed in my Firefox browser, which already had ublock origin installed. Like you, I found that it is a pretty silent extension,so I've no idea what if anything it blocks over ublock.
When I tried to download the Browser Guard extension from Malwarebytes free download site (to install in my Edge and Palemoon browsers) I found that I would need to download it using Chrome browser only:
https://support.malwarebytes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038520374-Install-Malwarebytes-Browser-Guard
You know well my antagonism to Google software, so that sure won't happen. Once again, Malwarebytes business decisions disappoint me. My default browser is Edge (legacy) so that might explain why I can't install this extension, when you could using presumably the latest Edge.
And that's the extent of my mini review.

The new Edge Chromium, being Chromium-based, DOES gets the addon from the "Chrome Web Store". I am trusting it based on it being produced by MalwareBytes.
I don't believe there's a version for PaleMoon (nor MyPal).
