Updates 8/9/22 - "Trifecta" Tuesday

Today is "Microsoft Tuesday" --- the SECOND Tuesday of the month --- on which Microsoft is expected to release its monthly cycle of Windows security updates. Based on previous history, they should become available at 1 P.M. [USA - Eastern DAYLIGHT SAVING Time]

Adobe is also expected to join-in with an update for Acrobat/Reader.

And Mozilla will be releasing a small update to Firefox.

  • Fixed menu shortcuts for users of the JAWS screen reader.

  • Fixed an occasional non-overridable certificate error when accessing device configuration pages.

  • Fixed an issue with Picture-in-Picture displaying in fullscreen on macOS.

And Mozilla Thunderbird 102.1.2 was released today to remove the fix for a previous bug because the fix caused a new bug. 

In other words, the original bug in the POP download progress bar is unfixed again, but the new bug is fixed...

Makes my head spin!
