A little more info from Symantec on this topic:

"Here are some typical programs that may install Wild Tangent Software to your computer:

Wild Tangent games: When you play a game at the Wild Tangent Software gaming site, http://www.wildtangent.com, the site requires you to download the game program to play the game. The game may be downloaded to your computer regardless of whether you play the game on the Web site or directly on your computer.

Winamp: Wild Tangent software is installed as part of the customized parts (plugins) of Winamp.

Some Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and other programs: Some ISPs and other programs may install portions of the Wild Tangent software. ISPs include companies such as Verizon or BellSouth that provide your computer access to the Internet."

Yeah, I think their is a connection between games my daughter plays online and Wild Tangent.  I have not had time to do research on it, seems their is no way to immunize against it.  Thanks for the responses.
